The Dive Master course
The dive master course is the first stepping stone into the professional dive education and plays therefore a important role in CMAS,PADI and SSI systems. The dive master is assisting the dive teacher in the dive education and is responsible for the supervision of dive activities of divers.
This is the entry into the profession as an instructor.
Short objectives:
There are four super ordinate goals to develop the characteristics of a dive master:
1. Development of faculty of judgment, your knowledge, your attitude and skills to assits in the dive education.
2. Development of faculty of judgment, your knowledge, your attitude and skills to supervise certified divers
3. Development of faculty of judgment, your knowledge, your attitude and skills to conduct a independently determined program for certified divers and beginning divers.
4. Development of your knowledge, water- and rescue-skills to a level which allows you to participate in a assistant instructor course and in a instructor development course (IDC)
